La Porte police to host protective order assistance event

La Porte Police Department LA PORTE, Ind. -- The La Porte Police Department announced they will host a protective order assistance event at the Hot Spot Café on Feb. 21 from 3 p.m.
The event will be led by the department's social worker, who will answer questions and help with protective orders.
Help is available in Spanish as well.
The Hot Spot Café is located at 602 Lincolnway in La Porte.
