La Porte Police Department welcomes new K9 partner Rocco

La Porte Police Department LA PORTE, Ind. -- The La Porte Police Department announced Officer Rico Simpsons has a new K9 partner, Rocco, a 13-month-old Dutch Shepherd from Germany.
Police say Rocco is a dual-purpose K9, trained in patrol and detection work, like the rest of the K9 unit.
Authorities say the community's generous donations to the K9 fund allowed them to welcome Rocco as a new member of the team.
