SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Eighty people will soon lose their jobs in South Bend.
On Tuesday, the Indiana Department of Corrections announced it's closing the Juvenile Correctional Facility on Old Cleveland Road.
Right now, 76 students live at the facility.
The IDOC said those boys will transition to community-based programs, or move to Logansport or Pendleton.
The IDOC didn't give a reason for the closure in their press release.
The correctional facility is set to close by July 1.
