Adams High School placed on lockdown

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Adams High School was placed on a lockdown for a short time on March 27 while police searched for a suspect in the area.

According to dispatch, the call came in at 12:40 p.m.

Police attempted to serve a search warrant near Greenlawn and Southwood when the suspect took off, prompting the school to go on a lockdown while police searched the area.

According to police, officers were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male last seen wearing a black Chicago Bulls pullover and blue jeans.

The lockdown has since been lifted.
