ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. --U93 is hosting a job and career expo in Elkhart for anyone seeking career opportunities in Michiana on Oct. 8 at Center Six One Five starting at 2 p.m.
"We're putting it on because we know that a lot of people in Mishawaka were affected by the quarantine, job loss and so this is a great opportunity to get people back to work right here in our community," U93 morning show host, Goose said,
According to the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy, the U.S has lost 20.6 million jobs since mid-March. To help those who have lost their jobs in Michiana, U93 in South Bend is hosting a job and career expo on Thursday, Oct. 8 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
With more than 20 different employers on-site, job seekers should bring their resume and prepare to be interviewed on the spot.
"Companies like Heartland RV, Hydro extrusion, Landco, pro resource, specialized staffing, just to name a few," Goose said.
