Ivy Tech President set to retire

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- After serving as Ivy Tech Community College president since 2016, Sue Ellspermann, has decided step down come June 2025 when her contract ends.

Serving as Ivy Tech's ninth overall and first female president, Ellspermann had many kind words to share, stating, "Serving as Ivy Tech Community College’s president has been the greatest honor of my life. With your support, we have overcome challenges, celebrated achievements, and strived to continuously improve our service to our students and Indiana’s workforce."

The Ivy Tech State Board of Trustees is set to begin their nation-wide search for the college's new president next spring, with their start date anticipated for on or before July 1, 2025.
