The heat wave continues into Saturday, so there is relief in sight! Friday and Saturday will be hot and muggy with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s with heat indices between 95-100. Lows will stay very warm in the low 70s, so difficult sleeping weather will last. Most areas will be dry Friday and Saturday with very limited pop-up showers in the afternoon. The heat breaks as a cold front comes through Saturday night, which will allow scattered storms to develop Saturday night into Sunday morning. The humidity will last until Monday, so Monday is looking fabulous in the low 80s with low humidity with plenty of sunshine. We will have to watch the potential for rounds of thunderstorms from Tuesday to Wednesday of next week, as these will be forming in hot and humid conditions just to our west as a warm front nears midweek.
Tonight: Muggy and partly cloudy. Low 70.
Friday: Hot and partly cloudy. High 93.
Saturday: Hot and mostly cloudy. High 95. Overnight scattered storms.
Sunday: Morning storms turning partly cloudy in the afternoon. High 89.
