Indy 2nd-grader facing expulsion for bringing bottles of beer to school

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- An Indy 2nd-grader is facing expulsion, after police say he brought three bottles of beer to school.

Officials say the boy was walking down a hallway when the principal looked inside his book bag and found the unopened bottles of Budweiser.

The boy acknowledged he brought them to school, but didn't explain why.

Some parents say the punishment is too harsh for a 2nd-grader.
