Indiana State Police arrest La Porte man for weed bust

LA PORTE, Ind.-- A La Porte man is locked up after police say they caught him selling weed out of a motel room.
Indiana State Police say they found the man yesterday at the motel on State Road 39 in La Porte County.
A trooper and his K-9 partner confiscated over 3 pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and almost $2,000 cash from the room and car of 58-year-old Dennis Vanmeter.
