Indiana Donor Network hosting free movie night at Four Winds Field

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Indiana Donor Network and Donate Life Indiana are coming together to host a family-friendly movie night at Four Winds Field on June 14.

Gates will open at 6 p.m. with the featured presentation of The Super Mario Bros. Movie starting at 7 p.m.

Organizers say tickets are free, but must be claimed by Noon on Thursday, June 13, either by visiting the South Bend Cubs box office or claiming them online.

Seating is general admission and fans will be able to sit in the seating bowl or the outfield grass. Lawn chairs and umbrellas are prohibited but fans are welcome to bring blankets if they plan to sit on the grass.

“Indiana Donor Network is excited to support this wonderful community event and will be on site to encourage attendees to say 'yes' to being an organ and tissue donor,” said IDN Manager of Marketing and Communications Joe Backe.

The organization says more than 100,000 people in the U.S. are waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant, and over 1,000 of those waiting are Hoosiers. Indiana Donor Network works to bridge the gap between donors and patients by both educating and advocating for lifesaving transplants.
