SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The temperature broke the century mark on Wednesday and that didn't seem to stop folks from going out to the fair.
It is one of the busiest days at the fair because it was half-price admission.
Fair officials say they expect between five and six thousand people to walk through the turnstiles on Wednesdays.
"It is hot, no question about it, but we've got two full air conditioned places for people to go and misters across the fair grounds," Mark Tingle, fair director, said.
It costs only $4 to get instead of the normal $8. It's also $1 ride days.
