Hit and run leaves motorcyclist seriously injured, Elkhart Police investigating

ELKHART, Ind. - The Elkhart Police Department is actively investigating a hit and run crash involving a motorcycle and vehicle that resulted in serious injuries.

The hit and run occurred shortly before 1 a.m., Saturday, near Cassopolis Street and Simonton Street in Elkhart, according to officials.

Police say the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in the crash.
