GOSHEN, Ind.--  A person was hospitalized Friday afternoon after a crash involving a car and a moped at the intersection of CR 10 and 17.  The crash took place approximately at 1:51 p.m. when a vehicle traveling west on CR 10 attempted to turn south onto CR 17.

A moped heading north on CR 17 tried to bypass traffic by moving into the left lane and struck the turning vehicle. The moped rider was transported to a local hospital with chest and leg pain. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

The crash is under investigation.
