History Museum and Studebaker Museum holding open house for volunteers on August 21

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The History Museum and Studebaker National Museum are holding an open house for volunteers on Wednesday, August 21.

The open house takes place from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. and is designed for anyone interested in historic houses, vintage vehicles, and history.

There are several positions available for people with different interests and availability.

Over 60 individuals volunteered at both museums last year, where they gave tours, helped in the gardens, scanned images in the archive, and more.

The museums say their participation made a significant impact on their public outreach.
