Highs near 70 Wednesday; storms likely Thursday

Enjoy today. It's dry and mild with temperatures soaring near the 70 degree mark by afternoon. There is a mix of sun and clouds, with more clouds developing late.

On Thursday, we'll see a steady rain through the day. There's also likely going to be thunderstorms Thursday. A few storms Thursday afternoon or evening could be strong, possibly severe. Widespread severe weather is not expected. Impacts include downpours and gusty winds.

Storms exit Thursday night, but a few showers linger into Friday morning. Friday is cooler with highs near 50.
