We're wrapping up the work week quietly with high temperatures just below freezing today alongside mostly cloudy skies courtesy of a passing cold front. Lows bottom out near 20F tonight while maintaining abundant cloud coverage, setting us up for another day of near-freezing conditions on Saturday. A developing low moves into the Great Lakes, bringing a wintry mix Saturday afternoon which transitions to (system and then lake effect) snow later that night. Some icing is possible on roads, but conditions will be more favorable for increased snow and lesser amounts of freezing rain. The wintry mix ends early Sunday morning, allowing for calm and seasonable weather heading into next week.
Today (Friday): Mostly cloudy. High 30.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 22.
Tomorrow: Wintry mix. High 33.
Sunday: Overcast. High 28.
