BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – Grief counselors were on hand Monday at Benton Harbor High School for classmates and teachers of the victims who died in a pursuit Sunday.
Berrien County Sheriff’s Department released the victims’ names of the robbery that led to a police pursuit and ended in a fiery crash.
The driver was 20-year-old, Jayshaun Fuller. The passengers were Davion Patton, 17, and Allan Veox, 17. The two teens went to Benton Harbor High School.
One person did survive. He is 17-year-old Anton Morgan, who was listed in critical condition at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Benton Harbor Area Schools released a statement saying the families affected are in their hearts and prayers.
According to deputies, handguns, rifles and a shotgun were recovered from the suspect’s car.
The names of the deputies involved in the crash have not been released.
