Gov. Holcomb stops by Culver Elementary to discuss dangers of smoking, vaping

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind.-- Gov. Eric Holcomb stopped by Culver Elementary School Tuesday morning to speak with students about the dangers of smoking and vaping.

Indiana State Health Commissioner Dr. Lindsay Weaver joined Holcomb to bring awareness and education about smoking and vaping to students.

They spoke about "You and Me Vape Free," a Tobacco Prevention Toolkit includes curriculum aimed towards elementary, middle, and high school students aimed at preventing e-cigarette and vape product use.

Lessons include activities, quiz games, presentations and resources aimed at addressing key factors associated with youth e-cigarette use.
