Goshen Community Schools delays return to in-person classes for students in grades 7-12

GOSHEN, Ind.—Goshen Community Schools will continue virtual classes for all students in grades 7-12 through the holidays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Students in grades 7-12 have been in all virtual classes since November 16. They were initially set to return to in-person classes on November 30, but the return date has since been pushed back twice.

The district said Monday that a decision will be shared on ParentSquare and GCS social media accounts at a later date regarding the return to in-person learning for students at Goshen Middle School and Goshen High School.

Students in grades K-6 will continue with in-school instruction after the holiday break.

Students in grades 9-12 at Goshen High School will not have final exams in December and classes will continue up to December 22.
