Front Porch Friday with Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood will be available to talk to community members at Mishawaka's Front Porch Friday from noon to 1 p.m. on the front porch of the Mishawaka Utilities Business Office at 107 N Main St. Mishawaka.

City officials say mayors get things done, but only when they get feedback from their community’s citizens.

Mayor Wood says, "the highest and best title in all of politics is that of 'mayor.'  The job of a mayor is unique in American politics in that one can have a vision, develop plans, form partnerships, build coalitions, and get things done for the betterment of the community."
