Free Holiday Favorites concert at Lerner Theatre Sunday
The Lerner Theatre ELKHART, Ind. -- The Lerner Theatre announced they will host the Elkhart Municipal Band: Holiday Favorites, a free concert on Sunday at 3 p.m.
Organizers say the concert will feature the Elkhart Municipal Band under the direction of Steve Allen.
Attendees can expect to hear holiday classics like “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”
Organizers say there will also be a special appearance by Buddy the Elf and maybe even Santa will make an appearance.
Celia Weiss will play the Lerner Organ starting at 2:30 p.m.
There will also be Tuba Christmas directed by Bret Deardorff. Organizers say they're trying to break last year’s record of 63 tuba and euphonium players.
Admission is free and The Lerner Theatre is located at 410 S. Main St. in Elkhart.
