Sunny and cold to start the week
Clouds gather ahead of a winter storm system that will be passing through south-central Indiana later today. While most of the impact is expected in the southern half of the state, we will likely see some breezy conditions through tomorrow, as well as snow falling through the overnight hours. Snow accumulation overnight is expected to be less than an inch for most of Michiana, but the southern portions of Fulton and Pulaski Counties could see 1-2 inches. Some lingering snow as you wake up Monday morning, with breezy conditions and sun expected through the rest of the day. Temperatures stat getting slightly closer to 30 degrees, though we are not expecting to crack freezing anytime soon. Some LES could be seen through the day on Tuesday, light accumulation similar to what some areas saw Friday. Next best widespread snow chance seems to be at the end of the week.
Today: Mostly cloudy skies, cold. High 26.
Tonight: Best chance for system snow. Accumulation less than an inch expected in Michiana. Low 21.
Monday: AM lingering snow, clearing out in the afternoon, breezy. High 28.
Tuesday: Cloudy, PM light lake effect snow. High 28.
