Five arrested, charged with felonies, infant removed from home
Julie Snyder, Melvin J. Snyder, Brittany Griffin, Melvin S. Snyder, (Bonnie Agee not pictured) MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports deputies responded to a 3919 Michigan Rd. Lot 8 for a Division of Child Services call on Monday.
Authorities say evidence of illegal drug use in plain view was observed inside the home.
The Marshall County Drug Task Force then obtained and executed a search warrant at the home.
The report states five people were subsequently arrested after further evidence was recovered.
Authorities say an infant was also removed from the home.
The suspects, 53-year-old Julie Snyder, 55-year-old Melvin J. Snyder, 29-year-old Brittany Griffin, 31-year-old Melvin S. Snyder, and 42-year-old Bonnie Agee were all charged with Neglect of a Dependent, a Level 6 Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 6 Felony, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, a Level 6 Felony, and Visiting a Common Nuisance, a Misdemeanor.
