First Warning: Preparing for strong winds Sunday
Get ready for a very blustery day!
Sustained winds of 25-35 m.p.h. and gusts of 45-50+ m.p.h are forecasted for Sunday across Michiana.
The National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory for every county in the ABC 57 viewing area in effect from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
ABC 57 News wants to make sure that you are prepared for the strong winds and the possibility of power outages. Sunday's weather event is forecasted to be a lot like Wednesday's when we had downed power lines, broken limbs and even trees down due to strong winds. Secure outdoor objects that could easily be blown around.
