SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The St. Joesph Police Department responded to a call at approximately 4:32 p.m. at the 800 Block of the Castle Point Apartments. 

A caller reported her son stabbed her husband. Officers arrived to find Lee Alexis 34, with stab wounds to the chest, medically personnel immediately transported Alexis to the emergency room. 

A short time later in another area of Castle Point officers located Alexis' stepson Corey Antoine Demetris Young, 21.

Lee Alexis died a short time later in the hospital earlier this evening and an autopsy has been scheduled for Friday. Corey Young was arrested and transported to the St. Joseph County Jail.

St. Joesph County detectives continue to investigate this homicide.
