MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- College basketball fans packing the REES Theatre this afternoon as they showed one of the best rivalries in the sport, IU verse Purdue.
The Hoosiers and the Boilermakers went at it on the court, all while the REES provided an amazing spot for likeminded fans to gather and cheer on their squads.
With Bloomington and West Lafayette being a bit of a drive for fans in the area, a short trip over to Plymouth sounds that much better.
"It's a free event, and we have a lot of Purdue and IU alumni here in the area, and it's hard for them to get down to the different arenas to watch the games when they're here, actually in the state of Indiana. So, we thought it'd be fun to have them here at the theater and watch and enjoy the game," stated Managing Director at the Rees Theatre.
The game today being one of several the Rees has shown, and plan to show for sports fans in Michiana, as they also showed several Notre Dame football games to end the season.
It was the Hoosiers today that nabbed the victory, grabbing a 73 to 58 win at Assembly Hall.
