Spooky Halloween comedy show stars paranormal investigator
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Fall foliage is finally nearing peak all across Michiana.
The warm and dry fall so far has delayed fall foliage.
Not only has it just been dry, but drought has taken over much of the region which has impacted the foliage.
Some of the trees lost their leaves quickly as the lack of rain made the leaves turn brown and fall off the trees.
However, like every fall, some trees hold their magical display regardless of weather, and still put on a show.
A good portion of trees are seeing vibrant orange, red, and yellow colors.
Peak fall foliage is expected to get underway this weekend and all of next week.
The forecast this weekend is fair, so the colors should really pop for some great photo opportunities.
Halloween should be a colorful time of year before the leaves rapidly fall off.
Michiana will be past peak as we get close to Election Day, as the leaves will begin to fall heading into early November.
Thankfully, we can enjoy the fall colors in the meantime.
