GOSHEN, Ind. -- It may not fully feel like it outside just yet, but meteorological fall is here, marking the unofficial start of all things apple, pumpkin, and squash across Michiana.
ABC57’s Jackie Bauer got to check out the harvest at Kercher’s Sunrise Orchards in Goshen during their busiest time of year!
This will be the 103rd season for the six-generation family run farm.
Maureen Kercher, part of the fourth generation, says it’s been a great year for their crops, especially their 75 acres filled with 23 different kinds of apples, all available for U-pick.
Hayrides will begin Sept. 20, and a Pop-up event will be held Sept. 7.
