Fair conditions will remain this afternoon and evening. If you have any late evening plans, you might need a light jacket as temperatures will fall to the 50s overnight.
The Air Quality Alert will continue for all Michiana counties until midnight as the air is still compromised by Canadian wildfire smoke. Children, the elderly, and those with preexisting respiratory conditions should take extra precaution today.
Dry weather looks to stay in place going into the workweek and temperatures slowly increase to the 80s. Precipitation chances are present, but fairly low through the week. There are slight chances for a stray afternoon shower or storm through the weekend; however, the best chance to see widespread showers would be next weekend, as temperatures increase closer to the 90s.
