EnviroFest returns to Elkhart for the 28th annual festival

ELKHART, Ind. -- Join the Elkhart Environmental Center for their 28th annual EnviroFest from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 8.
The festival will be held at Island Park in Elkhart and is brought to the public by the Elkhart Environmental Center, City of Elkhart, and WVPE.
EnviroFest will feature food, drinks, live music, activities for children, and vendors focused on sustainability.
Live music will be performed by Memphis Underground and animal shows will be performed by Indiana Wild.
Free workshops will also be available throughout the event to build a bluebird box.
Family-friendly entertainment will be available in the Kid’s Area and Kid’s Tent with many different fun activities.
Visit the different exhibits to see vendors, businesses, and artists showcasing innovative ideas.
A silent auction will also be held at EnviroFest, featuring fun and practical items donated by local businesses.
“The Elkhart Environmental Center’s EnviroFest is a family-friendly event that welcomes residents of all ages to learn, connect, and have fun while discovering new ways to care for our environment,” said Mayor Rod Roberson, City of Elkhart.
“By engaging our youth and inspiring the next generation, the Elkhart Environmental Center is helping ensure that our city’s natural resources are protected and cherished for years to come.”
