Emergency water main repair in Mishawaka Wednesday morning

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- UPDATE: City officials report westbound traffic has been reduced to one thru lane due to the location of the repair.

Both eastbound lanes are expected to remain open.

The restriction is expected to be in place until Monday, Dec. 9, at 5 p.m., weather permitting.

ORIGINAL STORY: The City of Mishawaka reports E. Day Road is closed between Main Street and Edison Lake Parkway as of 9:08 a.m., Wednesday.

Motorists are asked to use alternative routes to avoid the closure area.
