Elkhart's community cleanup efforts are underway

ELKHART, Ind. -- The city of Elkhart's “Taking it to the Streets” initiative runs from Monday to Friday.

Some focuses of this effort will include street cleaning, repainting the bike path from Sterling Park to Hively, debris pickup and landscaping.

Sponsored by Mayor Rod Roberson and 4^th District Councilman Dwight Fish, this ends in a celebration held at Sterling Park Pavilion on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.
