Elkhart K9s to receive bullet and stab protective vests

ELKHART, Ind. -- Two Elkhart Police K9s will be receiving bullet and stab protective vests from Vested Interest in K9s.
K9s Big Mike and Maja will receive the vest in approximately 8-10 weeks.
They will be embroidered with “Honoring those who served and sacrificed.” The vests are sponsored by Matt Rothgangel of St. Louis, Missouri.
Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. has provided bullet and stab protective vests to law enforcement dogs throughout the United States. So far it has provided over 4,100 vests to K9s in all 50 states.
