ELKHART, Ind. -- Sounds of jazz filled the streets as the 34th annual Elkhart Jazz Festival began Thursday night.
The beloved tradition kicked off at the Wellfield Botanic Gardens and the Lerner Theatre.
Taking the main stage were The Queen’s Cartoonists, who are just one of hundreds of acts who will be performing at five main stages across the area.
Aside from the music, there will be food trucks, fireworks and a silent auction.
The festival wraps up on Sunday afternoon.
