SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Edison Middle School hosted a vibrant Hispanic Heritage celebration that featured a variety of activities for students and their families to indulge in the culture.
The celebration included a delicious taco bar, a 'make your own quesadilla' station, and a salsa and guacamole showdown. For the younger attendees, face painting and fun activities were available. Additionally, the school offered free haircuts to students as part of the festivities.
“Tonight, at Edison, we have a taco bar, make your own quesadilla block, and salsa showdown,” said Principal Sean Dillon. “We have free haircuts for our students, everybody’s salsa dancing, and it’s just so much fun.”
