Drivers cited for driving without ever receiving a license following two-vehicle crash
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to U.S. 33 and C.R. 20 around 6:40 p.m. on Sunday for a two-vehicle crash.
The report states that a 2017 Chevrolet Cruz, driven by 54-year-old Sharon Warren of Goshen, was traveling south on U.S. 33 approaching the intersection of C.R. 20.
A 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by 47-year-old Jorge Antonio Vasquez Cabrera of Elkhart, was traveling north on U.S. 33 before turning left onto C.R. 20.
Deputies say Cabrera failed to yield the right of way to Warren.
Warren then collided with the passenger side of Cabrera's car.
Warren's vehicle suffered heavy front-end damage.
Warren was taken to Goshen Hospital for complaints of head pain.
Both drivers were cited and released for driving without ever receiving a license.
Deputies say there were no signs of impairment detected for either driver.
