Marshall County Commissioners issue disaster declaration for severe weather

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- Commissioners issued a disaster emergency declaration at 11 p.m. Wednesday for the severe weather damage that occurred earlier in the evening.
This comes with a travel advisory due to blocked roadways from fallen trees and powerlines.
The declaration directs all public offices to execute emergency laws, regulations and directives given, and for all residents to comply with emergency measures and disaster plans.
The disaster emergency declaration is currently in effect until 11 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9th.
Marshall County EMA additionally asks residents to avoid all areas impacted by significant damage so first responders can work.
