Driver cited for failure to yield causing a crash in Elkhart County Thursday

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office cited a driver for failing to yield the right of way on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of C.R. 4 and S.R. 15.
The report states that around 12:13 p.m. 70-year-old Linda Dempster, of Bristol, was driving west on C.R. 4 and was attempting to turn left.
Authorities say Dempster failed to yield the right of way to another vehicle that was enter the intersection going north on S.R. 15 and the two collided.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to Elkhart General Hospital with complaints of shoulder/spine pain.
