Driver cited for Failure to Yield after causing crash in Elkhart County Wednesday

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a crash at the intersection U.S. 33 and C.R. 44 around 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday.

An initial investigation indicates a 2006 Chevy Impala was headed south on U.S. 33. When it entered the intersection, a 2020 Chevy Equinox was being driven east on C.R. 44 by 57-year-old Kimberly Snowden, of Goshen, failed to stop and caused a crash between the two Chevys.

Snowden was cited for failure to yield and taken to Goshen Hospital for treatment of head, neck, and shoulder pain.

Snowden's passenger and the driver of the Impala were uninjured.
