Domestic violence incident ends in a shooting

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – A domestic violence incident that resulted in a shooting is being investigated by the police in Calvin Township, Cass County, Mich.

According to the police, this incident took place around 9:30 this morning in the 19000 block of Chain Lake street.

The victim was injured and flown to a hospital for treatment and at last check, was listed as being in stable condition. 

Before the deputies arrived, the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect had been located after crashing his vehicle in Goshen, Ind.

Goshen Police Department detained the suspect for this investigation, as well as criminal charges stemming from the Goshen Police Department’s investigation.

The suspect’s name is being held pending arraignment on Cass County charges.
