Denver Fire Department tackles fire at Empower Field at Mile High

DENVER – Crews battled a fire inside the Empower Field at Mile High stadium in Denver Thursday, the Denver Fire Department reported.

Fire officials do not yet know the cause but said the fire affected the suite and the third-level seating area.

The fire department announced the flames were under control just before 3 p.m. MST.

The stadium is home to the Denver Broncos.
