South Bend Community Police Review Board met Thursday night
DELPHI, Ind. -- Another day of deliberations and still, no verdict has been reached.
Dozens, still waiting patiently outside the Carroll County courthouse for an answer, as the jury takes a day off Sunday and resumes deliberations at 9 a.m. Monday.
There's been a lot of speculation about what this long deliberation means, but there's truly no way to know how it's going for those Allen County jurors, sequestered in Carroll County, since Oct. 17.
Richard Allen's defense team was in yesterday, likely because the jury asked to view evidence, and they have the right to be in the courtroom for this.
Additionally, they have a lot of evidence to sort through, there were 17 days of testimony, over 60 witnesses, and hundreds of trial exhibits.
Allen is facing four charges in total, a murder charge and murder by felony, in this case kidnapping, for each girl.
The jury will not deliberate Sunday, it will pick back up Monday morning.
