'Curbside Concerts' return to Elkhart Public Library Friday

ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart Public Library announced "Curbside Concerts" will return starting Friday at 7 p.m., with free shows each week until June 27.

Various bands will play on the roof of the downtown library at 300 S. 2nd St. All concerts are free and open to the public.

Concerts will move indoors to the library’s first-floor atrium if it rains, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

Attendees can enjoy the show from the parking lot and are encouraged to bring their own camp chairs or blankets.

Beer, wine, and soda will be available for purchase, with a food truck parked nearby.

Library officials say there will be Jazz Fest shows on June 20 and 21 starting at 7 p.m. followed by a second band at 9 p.m.

  • May 23 – Society's Child
  • May 30 – High Gravity
  • June 6 – Lalo Cura
  • June 13 – Nine2K
  • June 20 – The Erly with special guest Anna p.s.
  • June 21 – JR Clark Band with special guest Dylan Tolbert
  • June 27 – Duke Tumatoe
