SOUTH BEND, Ind. - As the South Bend Cubs embark on what they hope is a second half postseason run, one of their highest profile players is hoping for an improvement in that time as well.
Cole Roederer was a second-round pick in the Chicago Cubs' 2018 draft class and is one of the top prospects in the organization. However, his first full season in the minors has been full of ups and downs. From strange injuries to the adjustment needed for professional pitching, the first half was a struggle at times. Now healthy once again, Roederer tells ABC57 he's confident the second half can show his full ability.
