Part of Old US 20 shut down due to structure fire

ELKHART, Ind.—Crews were called to a structure fire in Elkhart on Monday morning.

The fire department responded to the fire at a business just after 9 a.m. Monday in the 30000 block of Old U.S. 20. This is between Corwin Street and Sheridan Boulevard.

Corwin Street will be shut down while crews work to extinguish the fire, law enforcement officials said. A stretch of Old U.S. 20 in front of the business is shut down, too.

Crews were still on scene at 10 a.m. working to extinguish the fire.
