SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Families got to celebrate the end of the school year with South Bend Police today.
At Kennedy Park, the South Bend Police Department hosted their annual 'School's Out Cookout' where city students and families joined the department and other local agencies for an afternoon full of food and fun, and most excitingly for the kiddos, the debut of the brand-new SBPD bounce house.
Police say the goal of the event is to keep the relationship with community members strong as we head into these summer months.
