Colorado mom cited for strapping gas can in baby seat instead of child

AURORA, Colo. -- In Colorado a mom was pulled over during a seat belt campaign.
Officers found a gas can was strapped in a car seat and the toddler next to it was only wearing a lap band.
In Colorado children under 8 must be in a car seat. The mom and a 14-year-old also in the car were not wearing seat belts.
The unidentified driver was cited on three seat belt violations and for not having proof of insurance.
