City warming centers' hours announced in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - As the holidays are approaching, the City of South Bend has shared their city warming centers list and the hours.

South Bend officials also remind the public that all community centers within the City of South Bend can be used as warming centers, for example, public libraries.

Charles Black Community Center: 3419 W Washington St.

• Mon -Thurs - 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Fri - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Closed on Christmas Day, December 25, 2023, and New Years Day, January 1, 2024

O'Brien Fitness Center: 321 E Walter St.

• Mon - Fri - 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Sat - 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Sun - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Closed on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2023, Christmas Day, December 25, 2023, and New Years Day. January 1, 2024

Howard Park Event Center: 219 S St. Louis Blvd.

• Mon -Thurs - 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Fri - 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Sat - 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Sun - 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
