City honors local Hispanic leaders

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.-- Mayor James Mueller will join with Executive Director, Juan Constantino at La Casa de Amistad at 3423 S. Michigan Street for their annual Hispanic Heritage Month Community Celebration and Awards Ceremony to recognize this year’s honorees on Wednesday, October 9 from 5-7 p.m.

"It’s important that we recognize the significant achievements that our Hispanic leaders make in our community,” said Mayor James Mueller.

The leaders being honored as a part of Hispanic Heritage Month are:  
-Susana Lagunas
-Ricardo Parra
-Amada Salazar

The honorees will be featured on a digital billboard located at South Bend Ave. & Napolean St.
