Cass County Crash Leaves One Dead

CASS COUNTY, Ind.-- A New Mexico man is dead tonight after a deadly car crash in Cass County.
It happened just before 7:00 a.m. Saturday on Burlington Road in Marcellus Township.
Police say 48-year-old John Eastes of Three Rivers lost control of his Chevy Impala and crashed into a swamp.
His passenger 47-year-old Robert Haney was killed.
Eastes was airlifted to Bronson Hospital.
No word on his condition.
Police are still investigating what caused him to leave the road.
